So excited. Too many new things to explore and experience. Anyway, have to curb my online spending impulses(expenses actually). A lot of things can be bought online through so many virtual shops. 70% off, 80% off...so enticing! Haish....but money is limited. So, okay lah...I won't buy that bedspread, graphic animal shaped mirror, cute round alarm clock, baby clothes or even that Timberland watch. Err....may be that fitted queen sheet? It is after all, 90% off? By the way, how can it becomes 90% off? So, I got ripped off when I bought at the store lah? Hmmmmmmm.....Ripped off, we get. A question to ponder, that is. Caution!! Do NOT...I repeat, DO NOT give your toddler drink San Francisco Extreme Latte. Even just a few sips. Even when he cries, howling and even do his little cute gwiyomi face so that you cave in to his demands. I did that mistake and from 7 pm to midnight he runs, crawls, climbs, talks incessantly. Even tho his dad and me did everything that we could to persuade him to sleep. A bit after midnight, like in Cinderella story, he magically flops down and sleep. Deeply. Or, crashing is more like it. Caffeine crash, maybe? I wrote this down so that I will always read it back and remember this cautionary tale. So, for you guys out there...take this advice to heart....DO NOT give your toddler drink San Francisco Extreme Latte. Or any caffeine tainted drink/food. Monday, June 03, 2013
Adik Adam, suffers from Cradle Cap. A common baby skin problem, where the top of the head looks like dandruffy (new made-up word). At the edge of his hair line, there are some small bumps and redness. Doctor gave him a Cradle Cap medicated shampoo and an instruction to put olive oil on his head. It should work as sort of a moisturizer for the skin. Caution : We tried virgin olive oil, it works. Then gatal tangan, change to Minyak Kepala Dara. It causes redness and in the end, luka-luka di kepala. So, if the oil that you use causes the skin to be more reddish or bumpier, stop from using it! Change to other natural oil. Natural is the main keyword here.
