ACS kena beli
Kawan aku forward kan...another kampeni service yang kena beli. Dah la Xerox tuh customer kitorg, confirm dia larik nyer la... Deng....to all my ACS frens, bersabar aja la. Untung nasib korang, better benefits than us.
WASHINGTON (AFP) - – Xerox Corp. announced Monday it was buying Affiliated Computer Services in a cash-and-stock deal valued at 6.4 billion dollars that gives the US photocopier company a foothold in a new market. Xerox said it will pay 63.11 dollars per share for the Dallas, Texas-based outsourcing company, a premium of more than 33 percent over ACS's closing price on Friday. Xerox said the purchase of ACS, the world's largest diversified business process outsourcing firm, will make it the "leading global enterprise for document and business process management." "By combining Xerox's strengths in document technology with ACS's expertise in managing and automating work processes, we're creating a new class of solution provider," Xerox chief executive Ursula Burns said in a statement. "The revenue we generate from services will triple from 3.5 billion dollars in 2008 to an estimated 10 billion dollars next year," said Burns, who took over as CEO of Xerox on July 1. ACS shareholders will receive a total of 18.60 dollars per share in cash plus 4.935 Xerox shares for each ACS share they own. Norwalk, Connecticut-based Xerox will also assume ACS's debt of two billion dollars and issue 300 million dollars of convertible preferred stock to ACS's Class B shareholders. "For ACS to expand globally and differentiate our offerings through technology, we need a partner with tremendous brand strength and leading innovation," said ACS president and chief executive Lynn Blodgett. "Xerox offers that and more to bring our business to the next level while strengthening theirs," Blodgett said. "The company's prior 'body language' did nothing to suggest that a major transaction was likely/possible and implies to us a possible lack of confidence in core Xerox results," he said. "Nearly half of the combined company will be the ACS business, and ACS will likely contribute the majority of growth on forward basis," Holden added. Xerox said ACS will operate as an independent organization and initially will be branded ACS, a Xerox company. It will be led by Blodgett, who will report to Burns. ACS provides information technology services to a variety of industries ranging from telecommunications, retail and financial services to health care, education and transportation. Xerox and ACS said business process outsourcing is estimated to be a 150 billion dollar market, growing at a rate of five percent per year. The acquisition, which will need regulatory approval, is expected to close in the first quarter of 2010. US computer giant Dell announced last week it is buying computer services firm Perot Systems for 3.9 billion dollars in a move seen as a bid to counter rivals IBM and Hewlett-Packard and expand beyond its core PC business. Dah balek KL dah. Nak kena kemas umah skets, esok nak buat kuih raya skets, ahad nak tido skets. Ngeh ngeh ngeh. Aku sempat pegi ke Balek Pulau to visit an old family fren....semua orang tak percaya yang aku leh drive ke sana. Siap 2 kali pusing dalam sehari and via both old and new roads....in heavy rain and also at night! Dahsyat tak? Sempat belajar guna gear 2 lagik....so now, no more terhegeh2 naik bukit yerrr.... ;) On a more sombor note, I had been reminded yet again of our own mortality. Well, people do say hari raya nih, adalah hari untuk memaafkan. Tapi, abang sayang, seperti prinsip yang Rina pegang selama ini.....I can forgive but I can never forget. Seperti pepatah Inggeris, Once bitten, shame on you....twice bitten, shame on me. Let all the experiences that I'd gained be my guide in my life. Kang tak pasal2 kena tahan kat Semenanjung....haaa...nangis kang. Kepada yang ke Pantai Timur, please take note that takder toll dari kul 12 tgh malam ke 6 pagi. So, bawak la kopi bebanyak. Kepada yang ke Utara or Selatan, jangan harap gomen nak waive the tolls, so pandai2 la korang bawak duit bebanyak. Jangan gaduh2 (peringatan kepada diri sendiri juga). Semalam at 2:28 am, suddenly aku dapat a call. A man's voice (in slow so-called sexy/hush tones) mumbling something. Background noise punya la bising, aku suspect kedai mamak la. Dalam mamun2 gitu aku tanya sapa? Nak cakap ngan sapa nih? Dia kata "Saya Shahrul, nak cakap dengan awak(or is it you?) la". Aku confuse, sebab nama tuh dekat ngan nama a few of my relatives. Dah la memang mamun gilak lagik. Dalam kepala otak aku, pasal apa uncle aku call malam2 nih? Ada problem ka? Dah la background noise dia memang bingit. Then, after a few moments (selepas aku dah terjaga skets) aku dapat tangkap bahawa ini adalah panggilan jantan melayu yang tengah gatal, aku terus drop the call. Ish, ish, ish. Macam mana Melayu nak maju? Bangsa lain leh buka kedai makan 24 jam, at least dapat gaks untung. Bangsa Melayu masih buat crank calls. Buang precious resources, masa and duit. Dah la ekonomi tengah gawat, kalau dapat duit bila but crank calls tuh, kira aci la jugak. Nih buang duit ada laaa. So, kalau ada sesapa yang kenal this number, "Shahrul" (tak terasa mamat nih bagi nama betul sebab kalau jenis macam nih, selalu pengecut) 017-6765443. Sila-sila la nasihatkan dia supaya either belajar rajin-rajin or kerja carik duit banyak2. Tak yah buat crank calls, yang rugi bukan penerima panggilan, tapi pembuat panggilan tuh sendiri. Tak terasa ker bahawa maruah di tapak kaki dah? Di injak2? Dah la separuh dari budak-budak muda lelaki bangsa Melayu either duduk di Pusat Serenti atau Penjara atau lepak di bawah jambatan khayal ngan dunia dia sendiri...lagi separuh pulak suka lepak di kedai mamak dan shopping mall. Last weeked, kitorang tried a new recipe, so called Famous Amos cookies la, aku amik dari intenet. Yang best nya, menda tuh tak jadik Femes Amos, instead jadik biscuit Subway. Leh tak? Recipe ikut sebijik, then masa bakar, dia kembang flat gila. Nak kopak dari bekas pembakar pun hancur. Kitorang modified skets, then test bakar...mod skets, then test. Test punya test, dah separuh adunan abis. Dari biskut femes amos, tuh yg jadik biskut oat Subway. Sedap still sedap. Apa taknyer, dalam tuh ada chocolate, walnut, nestum and oat. Kesimpulannya, the recipe is a keeper, except next time nak buat, aku kena main balek with the butter and the 'additional' contents. Thursday, September 03, 2009
Ntah, aku dah takder mood dah nih. Semalam tgk pasal Bladeless Lasik, kawan aku antar brochure nya. Aku pun start searching la. It is still Lasik, with the same amount of failure rate = 1%. Hmmm...kena rethink balek la. Aku bukan apa, mata ada 2 bijik aja...dah la kalau nak buat operation, kena buat dua-dua sekali. Kalau both ada prob? Margaya!! Yg different between common Lasik ngan this procedure is that Laser is used to cut the top of the bijik mata. Dah la aku seram kalau ada menda stuck kat mata. Pantang tok nenek aku. Nih siap ada gambar mata penuh ngan darah. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa....................................... Ulang sekali lagik. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA..................................
