In call conference meeting.....sambil dengar, sambil minum kopi, sambil tulis blog. Crazy abt Full Metal Alchemist. Yeah, I know that it is an old anime (considering) but I had not managed to watch it til now. Already in episode 10, quite interesting...not those cute and lawak anime...more like sad and full of drama, with a few heartaches along the way. Nice tho. In the mood for Japanese songs, Moonlight (Darker Than Black) and Tears of the Blue Sky (Blood+). To all, Happy Valentine's day. Have fun!! I love all of you....well mebe except a few. Don't care whether you love me back....I am hard to love...I know. :) Thursday, February 12, 2009
Nak cakap pasal Nasik Kandaq Penang lagik. Kawan aku cakap Kassim Mustafa sedap. Aku leh la try next time balek Penang. http://www.kassimmustafa.com/ But for me, usually nyer list yang family aku carik ; 1) Nasik Kandaq Kampung Melayu (dulu sedap, tapi sekarang dah kurang umph...). 2) Restoran Hameediyah (kat Campbell street. Ayam rose (kari ayam) and daging kurma dia fabulous. Adik aku suka kambing dia, shedaaaaapppp). 3) Line Clear (korang jalan ke atas skets dari Campbell strt, sampai ke simpang besar...tepi jalan ajer. Best on the telur ikan and telur sotong, tapi kari dia kurrrennng skets). 4) Nasik Kandaq tepi Masjid Kapitan Keling. (Nih recommended by paksu, aku tak penah makan lagik, tapi dia kata paling best. Bukan kedai yang besaq tu, tapi jalan kecik aja betul2 tepi masjid tuh. Paksu cakap leh beratur dekat 50 orang kalau ari jemaat kliwon). 5) Kayu Nasik Kandaq (area Penang Road...aku penah makan sekali, not bad.....gaks) Actually, it is a known fact that Nasik Kandaq in Penang adalah lebih sedap dari nasik kandaq yang jual kat tempat lain. Sorang pakcik yg bukak catering cakap it is due to the ayaq kat Penang. Kalau dia sendiri masak kat tempat lain pun, without ayaq dari Penang....still tak sedap. Erm....ayaq mesti dari pulau nooo....dari seberang still tak best. Nasik kandaq kat KL yang sedap.....ehmm.....yang kuah kari aku masak sendiri. Kekekeke. Masak pakai paket Kari Nasi Kandar by Maggi, tapi aku tak masukkan santan. Honestly, kat KL takder kari yg bebetul sedap cam kat Penang. Maybe aku bias, but I am a Penanglite....and makanan di Penang memang semua sedap-sedap. :) Currently listening to : Moonlight by Rie Fu. Sad and wonderful lyric. "There’s never a time when I didn't think about you There are nights when it feels like I can’t catch hold of anything There isn’t a day I don’t think about it Hoping this hesitating heart would reach you " Friday, February 06, 2009

(I am not targeting brand names as below, only that they are some of the very famous names that are flying around in emails right now) Lately byk benor aku dapat email pasal boikot and jangan boikot barangan syarikat yang contribute to Israel's economy. We have the left extremists and right activists yang asik bergaduh pasal menda nih. And then, si McD siap buat flyers bagi kat customers bagitau diorang under McD Malaysia dan tak contribute to Israel. Yang si KFC pulak siap antar email bagitau diorg under KFC Holdings and also tak contribute to Israel, the owner siap nak beli KFC U.S. lagik. Betul ke idak, aku tatau. Tapi, below are some info on franchising yang aku amik dari internet.
Imagine that you're opening your own McDonald's. To do this, you have to buy a McDonald's franchise. In order to qualify for a conventional franchise, you have to have $250,000 (not borrowed). Your total costs to open the restaurant, however, will be anywhere from $685,750 to $1,504,000, which goes to paying for the building, equipment, etc. Forty percent of this cost has to be from your own (non-borrowed) funds.
Some people told me that the franchisee only pay the initial amount, all the rest of the profits would be kept by the franchisee. Bullshit la. Aku dulu minor in business...and we DO learn about franchising. It is bad business if you give your name and do not expect anything else from your partner. So based on the franchising rules, I would say that all the U.S. franchisebase (yeah, even the McD Malaysia and KFC Holdings) DO CONTRIBUTE to the Israel's war. How? By giving monthly percentage of their profits to the franchiser, which pay tax to the U.S government, which pays for the military and other aids to the Israelites. Do not believe me? The linx are as below... http://www.washington-report.org/backissues/0296/9602046.html http://www.salon.com/news/feature/2009/01/16/gaza_invasion/ So, by buying McD, KFC, Burger King, Pizza Hut, A&W and other U.S. franchises, we DO in fact contribute to the slayings of the Palestines.
To boikot or not to boikot? It's all up to YOU. I already give you the information, so make an informed decision. (If anyone have the exact franchise information that state the franchisee DO NOT give monthly profit percentage to the franchiser, kindly post it in the comments. I would love to debunk my own writings on this issue). Monday, February 02, 2009

Actually Pasar Borong Selangor is the place to buy fresh/dry produce in The Pasar Borong Selangor is open 24 hours, but the produce itself are not Overall, it is ok to buy fresh seafood or chicken/meat.
