Weekend banyak tido dari wake up. Penat jenjalan kat Jakarta and Bandung baru abis. Moody sambil memeluk my new bags and dengar lagu Indonesia. Ayat2 yang aku tengah giler. 1) Aku dan nafasku merindukanmu. 2) Hanya sekejap ku berdiri, ku lakukan sepenuh hati. 3) Inikah yang kau mau, benarkah ini jalanmu, hanyalah engkau yang ku tuju. 4) Pegang erat tanganku, bimbing langkah kakiku, aku hilang arah, tanpa hadirmu. All in a same song. So sweet. So cute and yet so emotional. With the singer's sweet melodic voice, aku terkaku mendengarnya. Friday, March 28, 2008
di ruang rindu kita bertemu
Bad experience with Jco (the newly famed donut shop at Pavillion). Aku cuti, so pegi la merayap bertujuan, tgk tak ramai orang so belasah la beratur. (By default, to buy the Jco donuts, you must queue up for half an hour) Lepas beli, my fren call ajak temankan dia. So, the Jco makan dalam keta. End up, aku donate ajer the rest of the donuts....dah ilang semangat nak So, next time kalau sesaper nak makan Jco with me, aku akan makan at the Taste wise, leh la tahan. But many prefer Krispy Kreme lagik. However, Saw the movie 'Horton hears a Who'. Memang best. Nak pensan gelak. Ku mencintaimu, lebih dari apapun...Meskipun tiada satu orang pun yang tahu
Very much in love with Indonesian songs. Not dangdut tho. These are songs by Indonesian Bands. With beautiful music and lyrics. 3 songs in my head : 1) Kekasih Gelapku by Ungu Ku mencintaimu, lebih dari apapun Ku tahu ku takkan selalu ada untukmu Yakinlah bahwa engkau adalah cintaku Ku mencintaimu, lebih dari apapun Ku mencintaimu, lebih dari apapun Ooh... Ku mencintaimu, lebih dari apapun 2) Demi Waktu by Ungu Aku yang tak pernah bisa lupakan dirinya Maafkan aku menduakan cintamu Kalau saja waktu itu ku tak jumpa dirinya 3) Ketahuan by Matta [*] [**] [Repeat * & **] Tapi tak mengapa aku tak heran Oo..Oo.. Aku ketahuan pacaran lagi Tengah moody sambil menghayati lagu-lagu ini. Asyik banget. Wednesday, March 26, 2008
Change song. Giler this song now. Apa tak nyer, asik dengar dalam bus and siap dinyanyi oleh Hendri. Good song, tho ada yang main menjeling. Anything missing in translation ker? Aku nih blur ah. :P Malaysia.....tanah tumpahnya daraaaahhhhkuuuuu.... Tetiba jer rasa patriotik. Walaupun shopping cam suku giler di Jakarta and Bandung, walaupun harga gula di Mesia nih lebih tinggi, tapi ia tetap pujaan hatiku. Memang puas pegi Jakarta and Bandung. Kitorang sampai on Khamis pagi kat Jakarta. Aku bawak 1 backpack with very minimal clothing. Sampai kat airport, Hendry(our handsome guide) dah tunggu...dapat welcome food pack (sedap wo). Then kitorang pegi lunch. After that, and until nak balek ke Mesia....asik shopping ajer. Kitorang turun kat airport Soekarno-Hatta and terus masuk Jakarta. Pusing2 shopping...on the second day baru pegi Bandung. 2 days kat Bandung, rasa cam nak lepaks seminggu. Tak sempat pusing all the shops. However, really love kedai 'Barbe' near ngan Heritage-Cascade tuh. Dapat a North Face back pack. Hehehe, aku dah ada bagpack for camping. Tho bila nak camping pun tatau. Dapat gaks a 'Garfield goes to waist' comic book. Apa nak buat, memang giler buku. Memang giler dalam kedai tuh, dia jual barang2 baru dan terpakai. Cam nak duduk 2-3 jam ajer. Sempat pegi Kartika Sari beli Brownies Kukus. Sedap....Also si Fahroe cucuk beli coklat....spend about RM40 beli coklat, sabar jer la. Then on the last nite, balek ke Jakarta. Sempat shopping before lunch and massage too. Tho aku tak massage la, geli woooo. Yang ladies, sempat lulur lagik. Overall, a very exciting and rejuvenating trip. Dapat crash course on how to kenal original branded goods and how to spend money un-wisely. Kesian to Fahroe tho, he is the only guy and terpaksa go along with our womanly shopping whims. But not much shirts with extra large size kat sana, kalau body ala Nikolas Saputra, banyak la choice nyer. Sempat jugak nonton the current hit movie, Ayat-ayat Cinta. Tho aku tertido at somewhere in the middle and at ending. Bila tanya Fahroe, dia pun tatau ending, tido gaks. Hampagas la. Apa nak buat, sekor2 ngantuks giler. Thanx to my guardian angels sebab jaga Rina masa nak balek tuh. My gastrik attacked, so a bit incapacitated. Terima kasih to all my fellow travellers. Will surely treasure the moments, akan antar email on the pixs. Extremely thank you to Hendry Effendi, Nandang and Bambang. Your patience and extreme care are very much appreciated. Thank you very much to Kak Mawar with her tips on where to buy items and what to look for. Also for the currency conversion method, tau la saya nih, Maths failed skets. And also thank you to Fahroe for your guidance. You are my living GPS, without you, I will not know which door at the shopping malls to exit and what NOT to buy. Love the trip and would highly recommend it to those people that want to buy items for weddings, either their own or just nak borong baju for the whole brood for the kenduri. Kalau nak sight seeing also boleh, tho kitorang dah awal2 cakap to K Mawar yang kitorang nak shopping ajer. leh pegi Tangkuban Perahu and Punchak. Advisable for families outings. So, sesaper yang nak pegi Jakarta/Bandung and wants good package (with one of the best tour guide) can contact K Mawar (if you got her phone number) or me (to get her phone number). Rasa cam nak pegi lagik laaaaaa. ;) P/s : Will upload pix later. Kena filter dulu. Hehehe. Wednesday, March 19, 2008

Am planning to buy DVD on Battlestar Galactica. Last year, me and my housemate was glued watching the rerun on season 1 and 2 of the stories at Astro. Tried to follow the stories when the tv8 channel started to aired the series, but come on la...1 hr per nite? With my goldfish memories syndrome, I much prefer to watch the series marathon like. Plus, I can pause when the urgent requirements arose. Hehehe. Anyway, we have actually 2 version of the series, the first one starting 1978 and the new series starting 2003. Quite a few differences......being among the most notable are a few main characters had been changed to women, Starbuck, Boomer and the President. Tho Starbuck still kept a few masculine characteristics such as her love for cigars. The main plot....argh...go and read it from the linx below : http://www.scifi.com/battlestar/home.html http://www.battlestargalactica.com/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battlestar_Galactica http://en.battlestarwiki.org/wiki/Main_Page But I do say that the portrayal of a post-apocalyptic civilization is quite real. The story do make me think, are we stupid enough to create a kind of AI robot that will take our place? I'm sure that we are NOT that stupid (sniggering...cough..Terminator...cough). Also, althought space are vast, it is not really infinite. How far can you run? Especially being a Cylon they can duplicate themselves with all the memories intact. Might as well lay down and plan for a revolt later (I know, I know...too much Dune - The original Jihad) Anyway, I think the Cylons are really hot. Just look at Boomer and Number Six...Six really Sizzles... Honey, if by becoming a Cylon, I can be that hot!!? Yeah, downloading my mind now!!! (Hope to God that I can be a Cylon, not changed to become another crazy guy aka Lawnmowerman!!) Friday, March 14, 2008
So much hate for the ones we love?
Currently crazy at this song. The song first sung by the band Within Temptation. But I like Placebo's version better. Cleaner and more haunting. Heard it in CSI, Season 8 episode 2....When Sara and Grissom went to the Having a silent/blackout affair with the boss, macam pernah dengar Running Up That Hill Lyrics It doesn't hurt me. And if I only could, You don't want to hurt me, So much hate for the ones we love? And if I only could,
And if I only could, And if I only could, If I only could, be running up that hill Thursday, March 13, 2008

I read a lot everywhere that people condemned Penang since we choose to go with the Opposition (or shld we called them the Government now??). Whatever la. You all living elsewhere would not know what happened. Only Penangites know. Lately, our voices were not heard. The previous government wanted to make many mega projects in Penang and some of them are not really to our liking. For example, Penang Global City Centre (PGCC), Penangites shows their displeasure but did the government take any notice? Nooo... For people outside Penang, they would say that it would help the finance and making Penang the hub of commerce. Want to know something? Penang is already a hub for commerce. What we want is a green lung for Penang. The Botanical Garden and the nearby Youth Park is already maxed to the capacity. Build the PGCC in Seberang Prai la. SPGCC sounds nice too. All the projects inclusive of the Dataran Badawi is there already.... Oh..wait, the Dataran is only full when Badawi comes...the transport to that area sucks. Uh..oh....the Batu Kawan project also tak jalan yer? Even the mat rempit that it is build for shunned the project. Apa dah jadi? Kan kami dah kata Batu Kawan tuh jauh giler.....Kenapa? Tak percaya?? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penang_Global_City_Centre http://ipsnews.net/news.asp?idnews=39227 http://www.pgcc.com.my/main.htm Then, people say that by choosing the Oppsition, the Malays here would get oppressed. Here's the news sista, we had already been oppressed. Yeah, the previous government built Masjid Terapung. My dear, it is just an eye-candy. Most of the time, it is only full when UMNO is having their gathering. And for most of the times (our experience la), the buses would not wait until we sholat in the masjid. My mum was scolded because she takes extra time (to sholat Asar since Asar dah masuk waktu) by a bus full of UMNO delegates. Go figure la... Many still are old masjids or suraus located in Malay areas that should be rebuilt but are not coz the allocation are held by the x-KM. You think I am slandering? Go and look around la. Of course, don't go to the big masjids located at the nearby big roads or located in the city center. Go deeper. Oh, sorry, since most of these people only comes for vacationing at the area of Batu Ferringhi, Georgetown...what can they see? What about kebajikan orang-orang Melayu? The people that should be given assistance are ignored while 'friends' are given loads of money. Don't talk la about the zakat money that are taken out for redistribution. And these were the pillars of UMNO, the ones that should fight for Malays and Islam? I don't talk about the Badawi, I don't know him. I'm talking about a person that I DO KNOW. I'm talking about the President of UMNO Wanita Kebun Bunga. Oh, forgot, she lives in Glugor. What does she knows about our area?? Believe me when I say Glugor is NOT near to Kebun Bunga. Unless the borders had been changed again la. And yet, she is President of our area. Go figure... One example of the arrogance of the previous Government....There are loads of stray dogs that even chased some school children at our area, but when my mother (at the time was Timbalan President) brings the issue to the AGM (for a few years)...the President hushed down my mother, "Tak yah la ****, nanti diorang panggil ko **** Anjing." Hey, that is the President UMNO Wanita Bahagian Kebun Bunga talking, the ones that should honor and take care the Malay community of our area. Thank God my Mom leave the post. Of course, that is after the zakat incidence. When she found out that they want her to redistribute the zakat that should be given to single mothers to other of the Party's friends. My mom is still a loyal supporter of the Party. She believes in the Party, tho the people that leads it are another story. So, WE had spoken. We were born here, we grow up here, we have families and extended families all over Penang......and with Allah's graces, would die here. So for those that are living elsewhere...kindly shut your trap up. Sunday, March 09, 2008
Wow...the results are out. BN wins the nation, but lost in Penang, Kedah, Perak and Selangor. Of course, Kelantan is still Pas's stronghold. For our area, the Opposition wins. A bit of a no brainer, since we saw that the BN are not really fighting to keep the area as theirs. We saw the DAP and Parti Keadilan coming up to meet with the people...going even from house to house, while the UMNO only came to have a meeting. Even then, not all of the loyal UMNO supporters are informed. Only the committee's members are informed. Of course these people are given gifts and stuffs. Padan muka la. When you are so arrogant and don't want to meet the common people, don't really expect people will still give their support la. What that I really feels funny is that, BN only won Penang for the last 2 elections. Then, the BN forgot the supporters and their previous hard work...just take the supporters for granted. Yes, there are a few ceramah and meet ups scheduled, but a lot of the makan-makan are only for the committee members. Even the loyal supporters are neglected. Hello, my mum was Timbalan President until she got fed up with all the corruption and cronism. Even the nite before the election, she informed me that the President gave t-shirts and stuffs to 3 of the committee members that would not jaga our area's election center. What the heck? 10 people are elected, 7 that will work their ass off and another 3 will take the benefits that should be given to those that really concerned about the election. What to do....it is the President's will. Saper pun tak berani nak lawan President. Even tho it is corrupted. So, based on that...even that small job pun diorang cannot do. Would you think anyone in their right mind would elect that Party to govern? Of course the Malays are fed-up with x-Ketua Menteri due to the opressive jajahan. Asked to move location of Surau, cannot get...that is our area la. You can ask other Malays for their gripes. Aku malas nak layan. So, the people had spoken. If BN wants to win Penang again, they should really chop off these 'lalang' that eats at the core. All the votes are important, even the measly Malays. Good luck Barisan Alternative. May the Force be with you. Thursday, March 06, 2008
My x-lover is here!!
Dia duk kat situ smugly. Tau la hensem giler. Yang sakit hati tuh, dari my place...nampak terus kat tempat dia. Baru aku tau, sakitnya hati nampak all these people asik berenti and Eeee...geram...nyeeerrr. Aku dah try lupakan dia, tapi all these Eh, my team mate pun ke tempat dia. Tak leh jadik nih. Whatever happens, I must pegi jumpa dia gaks. Don't care abt my pride...yes...I do admit now. I AM addicted. Addicted Slowly...slowly.....dah sampai...tangan pun bergerak untuk menyentuhnya.
Hmm...got on the news that the new procedure to 'inked' voters had been scrapped off. Due to possibility of unrest and even fights if the voter had not yet vote, but somehow got inked. My say is, this is a procecdure that had not been well thought off. Hey! We are not the first country to think of inking people. Even Afghan tried it previously...opss...forgot, the vote was ended in scuffles since some places had mistakenly inked people using erasable inks. But I'm sure, being a country that has very high standards of budi bahasa, that kind of slurs would not happen here. Also, being a country that send our politicians all around the world to 'learn', wonder why we did not think of the impacts before...eh, sorry...of course we did not send our esteemed politicans to Afghanistan. We only send them to Europe, Bahamas, South Africa...all the 'civilized' countries with flushing toilets. In fact, since komuter do not have toilets onboard, our esteemed politicians had not even managed to board it. If not, I'm sure that during this poll, some komuter and in general, transportation issues would be touched. Hmmm...I am digressing from the original topic...'INK' Anyway, I wonder whether we had already bought the inks? I think so since the decision to axed the inks only came in yesterday and the poll is only another 2 days. Wonder why we go with the inking process when apparently the matter was only a hunch in a political bid to give around RM1 million worth of money to cronies. Might as well give it straightaway and save our grey cells from cooking up hare brained ideas to cover the tracks. Wonder also what will happen to the inks...Surely some cronies will get the project to get rid of the inks? Can we sell it to some other countries that have some half boiled idea too? I'm sure being a democratic world, we have a lot of people to ink. If our oh so clever politicians can dreamed that idea up, so can some other countries. Hmmm...RM1 million worth of inks...who will actually get billed? I think the hiked petrol price after this poll could easily cover that up. After all, it is only the people's money. In fact, since it is MY money, can I ask for a box of the ink? Only a small box that I had paid for. After all, I am not a greedy politician and only want what I had honest to God had paid for. Heroes..and hot Adam.
Last nite, tgk Heroes. Aku dah syak dah, si Takezo Kensei must be Adam. Sbb regerative powers, mana leh jadik tua. At least Claire would be able to stay a teenager forever. Hmm..is that a blessing or a curse? Anyway, back to Adam. So hot. I love multilingual bad boys. Especially a Yummy. This does makes the story much more interesting. Now, there are 3 Psst..did I ever tell you that once I had a dream abt Hiro? Sorry guys, Tapi, aku rasa kalau aku ada power, I want it like Hiro. The power to move Ok, too much imagination. Time to return to work. :) Tuesday, March 04, 2008
A new recipe that I discovered...all...on...my..own (read it ala Lilo & Stitch) Egg and Mushroom De'lite Omelette. - Take a handful of mushrooms (I usually use white or grey mushroom). Shredded. Fry it with some black pepper and salt. Put aside. - Put an egg (both white and egg yolk) in a bowl, a bit of onion, salt and pepper to taste. Stir it with the fried mushroom. - Fry the whole thing in a pan. I usually left the egg a bit runny. Yummy. You can eat it with chilly sauce or by itself. 2 weeks after I started to make this, the AFC shows a variation of the recipe, but with potatoes instead of mushrooms. You can do a variation of it, add a twist by adding carrots or salted lettuce. I think adding kim-chi on the side would be heavenly. Hehehehe. Anyone knows of good kim-chi that I can buy in bulk? The ones in the shopping markets are sooooo expensive. I love the one at Plaza Pantai, the Korean BBQ restaurant. I would try tomorrow with a bit of cheese in the middle of the omelette.
