Yey! The Chinese New Year is just around the corner. Holiday for 1 whole week!! What to do? This time, I would not brave the traffic back to Penang. Last year I spend 9 hours on the bus, while usually it took only 4 1/2 to 5 hours to arrive. This time, I would stay quietly in KL. Most probably stringing my beads. Below are some pix on the new bracelet creations. Swarovski Crystal Pearls with 4 mm Bicone Amethysts and Light Sapphire. Free Style Pearls with Rondelles and Citrine. I had customized a necklace made from black and siam swarovski, with rondelles and rhinestone ball. But, had not the chance of capturing the pix before the owner gave the necklace as a birthday present to her sister. Yie ha! Am not reading anything. Instead spending minimum 2 hours each night playing with my beads. Friday, January 20, 2006
Bad mood! Sakit period pain. I know that it is a blessing in disguise. But, for now.....disturb me at your own risk. And I don't think your insurance covered you being mauled for disturbing a dangerous...beast. Am playing TradeWind, Mrs. Tso just got her first billion, or trillion, or...(hey! it is a lot of zeros, k) last night. Tuesday, January 17, 2006
I had changed the Pink Mermaid to this pix. I had released the mermaid to the sea since her scales is starting to turn green. Her tail is also starting to divide into two. Too much exposure to the land air, I think. Anyway, hope you like the Phoenix. Actually, Dragon Phoenix. A bit of dragon's skeleton with phoenix's fire power. And by the way, I do love the Phoenix's Saga in the X-Men. The song You're Beautiful by James Blunt is stuck in my head rite now. An excerpt from the song. Somehow quite poignant since I can relate to it. You're beautiful. You're beautiful. You're beautiful, it's true. I saw you face in a crowded place, And I don't know what to do, 'Cause I'll never be with you. You're beautiful. You're beautiful. You're beautiful, it's true. There must be an angel with a smile on her face, When she thought up that I should be with you. But it's time to face the truth, I will never be with you. Hmmmm...............now, I feel distressed. Currently playing The TradeWind game in my palm. This time, even after 3 years, Mrs. Tso is still not dead. Yey!! Friday, January 13, 2006

A Happy New Year to all of you!! Now, I am a year older. More matured? I hope so, but yet....it is hard to delete (computer lingo?) the child in me. Anyway, during the New Year's holiday, I spent a lot of time around Jalan Petaling, the now infamous street where the seller bullies the customer to buy their stuffs. Luckily, they never did harass me. Usually, when they asked me to see their display inclusive of , shirts, bags, pirated vcds, porno vcds, fake watches etc, I always declined nicely. Unless if I want to buy the items, then I only bargain on the item that I want to buy and then....buy it. Words of Wisdom on how to conduct oneself at Petaling Street (the way I do it): 1) Always pay for the item that you had bargained and won. 2) Always set the starting bargain price at 1/4 of the price given. 3) Step up the price slowly. 4) Never look at the pornographic vcds sold. (If you start to browse, then the seller would start to force you to buy them). 5) The seller sometimes would call you names such as Stupid, Crazy, etc while you're bargaining, just ignore the names and concentrate on the price. I had an experienced while bargaining for a pair of sunglasses, where the guy started to shout at me at the top of his lung. In the end, I got the sunglass at RM12.00, when the starting price was RM48.00!! 6) Look for tell tale signs that the seller is getting annoyed at you. Sometimes, the price is really reasonable, and when you still press for lower price, the seller's face would get red, the nostrils dilated, his head would shakes from left to right (never up and down), and sometimes just ignore you. Take the hint, and increase the price. Or move to another stall. 7) Lastly, be courteous, smile and bargain nicely. Remember, these people usually have connection to Tai Ko (Kong Si Gelap), anger them at your own risks. (Uh, for you Englishmen, this Tai Ko is just like your Mafia). Uh, currently reading the third book on the Doona Series, by Anne McCaffery.
