The Langkawi trip was great! We went to : Galeria Perdana - got new exhibits, Underwater World (they got additional animals now, the Rock Hopping penguins, Spotted Seals, Anaconda snake, Pink Flamingoes and more Amazonian animals) , Gunung Machinchang Cable Car(whew, do not ride it unless you are not gayat! I actually forgotten to ask my mum whether she wants to ride it until we are actually in the car!) The Curving Bridge on top of Gunung Machinchang ( lovely, nice pictures are captured here! but not for people with height phobia) The Crocodile Farm (big crocs. whoa, lepas tuh jalan atas jambatan pun slowly, kalau jatuh memang pasti kena telan ngan boya), Makam Mahsuri (they actually built a muzium for the Mahsuri's tragedy-nice touch), Kampung Air Hangat(just tangkap gambar kat depan rumah). We even went to 5 different beaches, Pantai Chenang, Pantai Kok, Pantai Pasir Tengkorak, Pantai Pebble and Pantai Pasir Hitam. Very nice beaches, very conducive for picnicking and family outings, errrr...except the Pantai Chenang. It is literally littered with rubbish! The only thing is, salary tak sempat masuk lagik. Hampeh tul. Nasib baik my sister leh cover beli souvenirs and makan-makan. We all stayed at Awana Porto Malai, Langkawi. A very nice hotel with nice views and very friendly personnels. It have a pier instead of beach and you can see many colourful fishes swimming at the pier. They have Fish Feeding session at 6.30 pm every day and you could also participate in giving the fishes hotel's breads to nibble on. They said it was actually started by our ex-Prime Minister, Dr. Mahathir Mohamad who are so taken by the fishes, he requested for some bread and start feeding it to the fishes. My only gripe at the hotel is the room service, it took them 1 hour to deliver the additional pillows that I requested. My sister(the other room) have to call back the room service and asked them about the pillow, which they had forgotten to send! The other night, it also took them 1 hour to send the additional towels that my mother had requested! My planning is for us to go back to Langkawi in roughly three years from now. Why three years? So that I can recover from the debts incurred in my credit card. hehehe.....
