Today, attended a presentation on Microsoft SMS (Systems Management Server). This application enables you to monitor the hardware and software inventories, software deployment and have remote control capabilities. Nice aaa? Hope so too. Let me play around with it first, then we'll see how the product fares. Last Sunday, me and a few friends 'get together'. Just having lunch and discussing our lives. I learn a recipe. "Bubur Jagung". Slice the corn kernels. Then, boil it with water until it becomes soft. Then boil 'gula melaka', common sugar, a pinch of salt, coconut milk and a bit of water together. That's it! Opps, forgot! Just received notification, I have to take IBM DB2 UDB exam. Yikes! The exam is scheduled in November. A bit more than 1 month to go. I am bad at exams. Believe me, I know. Am gathering all the information needed to face the exam. Wish me luck! Monday, September 22, 2003
Went to my friend's house last night. Vo Hong sold Au-jya, Muslim robes(jubah) and a few more items from Vietnam. Got my self an Au-jya, pink in color. So, I have another baju raya. ;) But it is so gorgeous, and the workmanship is so neat, I could not help myself. Seems that lately, Au-jya had become a trend among the women. Even though Vietnamese people is not so great a number in Malaysia, but their national dress is everywhere! It is a long dress, with small buttons in front. It have horizontal cuts at the side until the waist. Also, it is wore with a long pants. Very feminine and at the same time, sexy. Friday, September 19, 2003
I am currently reading ebooks authored by HP Lovecraft. A very good writer with out of this world imagination. Mostly are horror genre with a twist of science fiction thrown in. He created a very realistic Chulthu legend and I'm not ashamed to admit that at first I thought that it truly exist. Personally, I like The Shadow Over Innsmouth. For horror buff, should read his works. Am reading stuffs on Microsoft website. Need to fortify myself on current 'hot' technologies.Main target -> Microsoft.....Active Server, Active Directory. Everything is so active, except me. Apart from that, another goal is to learn Java language. Dhandhanggula (meaning diharap supaya bisa menyenangkan). Opps, that is bahasa Jawa. :P Testing, testing. Just created my own blogspot. Am very new at writing stuffs, usually I just read them. I will try my best to record all my experiences. Bear with me for the time being.
