Kali nih citer panjang pulak.

Cerita-ceriti Adam.

About Adam's Hydrocele...before daku lupa all the details.

Last few months, Asyraf and Adam kena batuk teruk. Selalu Adam kejap aje batuk, kali nih dekat seminggu and agak kuat gaks batuk dia. Then ayah perasan one of the scrotum dia besar skets. Adam pun tetiba cakap sakit bebird.  So, bawak gie klinik...dokter check pi, chek mai...dia cakap kemungkinan Hernia. So refer to spital An-Nur.

Bila bawak gie An-Nur, diorg refer to surgeon pulak....pakar hernia nih. Lepas jumpa surgeon, dia confirmkan yang Adam nyer condition is called Hydrocele. Meaning ada lubang kecik yg tak tertutup antara scrotum and selaput mana ntah, causes air turun ke bawah bila dia batuk teruk. Sib baik bukan full blown hernia, which involves usus. But, since Adam dah 3 years old, meaning that lubang takkan tertutup sendiri, so kena buat surgery.

Dekat2 nak tarikh surgery, insurance pulak confirmkan diorg tak cover, since this is congenital issues. RM5000, just for surgery and daily bed. Risau gaks, sbb nak kena buat full body anaesthesia, dah la budak tuh kecik aje...kalau ada complications, cemana? Discuss pi mai, opismet cakap anak sedara dia buat kat GH, ok gaks. Another option, is HUKM, also byk handle hernia cases. So, buat la pulak appointment ngan HUKM.

Bila pergi, dia kasi another date to see the surgeon...which is abt 1 month later. Pikir2 ok la, since Adam takde la sakit, just bengkak sikit aje.

Dah sampai 1 March tuh, pegi la satu family....cam picnic pun ada gaks.

(Kat spital)

(Tak kasi tgk Otomen, abes semua org nyer gambar kena tangkap....)

Lepas jumpa dokter, tetiba dokter cakap ada slot kosong, tapi kena masuk spital esok, surgery will be done on lusa, ok tak? Kalut call my opis bagai, last2 confirm amik that slot.

So, esoknyer ayah pun drive la anak teruna dia g spital.

(Muka best sbb dapat jalan2 jauh. Tatau lagi nak kena surgery....)

Sampai kat spital, tanak pakai baju yg diorg kasi, nangis2 pulak tuh. Siap jumpa kawan berlari lagi.

(Esoknyer, pagi2 akak nurse kasi baju suh tukar. Meraung bagai, last2 akak nurse kata takpe lah...tak yah tukar baju.)

(Main2 ok, tapi tanak pakai betul2.)

(Sib baik katil nih kaler biru, dapat la pujuk utk dia naik. Tapi, muka Adam tak senyum langsung, I know something is sooooo  wrooooooonnnggg....)

(Masa nih atas katil kat tepi OT, tgh tunggu dokter pakar sampai sebelum full body anaesthesia.)

Masa nak kasi gas tuh, mmg meraung ah, sampai akak nurse and pakar kena paksa...ibu dah nangis dah. Tunggu 1 hour, Adam keluar...lepak kat tepi OT sampai dia stabil. Baru kitorg naik atas balek.

Tapi ada 1 issue, Adam tak recover sepenuhnyer...dia tido sampai petang. Tanak minum, tanak bangun pun. Akak nurse pujuk suh minum pun tanak, ibu turun beli seplastik barang nak tempt dia supaya minum, satu pun dia tak nak try.

By 5:30 pm, Prof Dayang datang tengok, geleng kepala and terus suh start drip. Akak nurse bawak ais suh try tekan kat tundun supaya kencing....dah nak maghrib baru dia kencing....tapi dokter cakap esok la baru balek, sbb tgk dia sangat 'off'.

Malam tuh abang Afiq datang ajak main, baru la nak bangun duduk, tapi air ribena still nak peluk aje. Ayah, Nenek and Abg Asyraf datang baru nak makan sikit...takat 2-3 mulut aje la...tapi at least nak makan.

Esoknyer , pujuk2 dia makan lah suku mangkuk nasik lemak, kira better ah tuh...elok dokter pusing keluar, selambak dia muntahkan....Adoiii.....risau ibu, nak nangis pun ada. But by tengahari makin ok, nak bangun, minta kaler pensel dia.

Tenghari, dokter kata leh balek...Yahooo....

(Nih budak pakai baju lawa2 ngan harapan leh balek.)

Sambung recuperate kat umah. By hari ke 5, ke 7, ibu and nenek pulak menjerit2 supaya tak lari laju2 sangat or lompat. Cuak seh...dia leh lari2 and then hempap perut ke tepi sofa. Aduhai......

So, for now, maintain dulu, tengok ape dokter cakap next check up.

Semuga Adam sembuh sepenuhnyer....

The race of man shall perish, but the eyes
Of trilobytes eternal in stone,
And seem to stare about in mild surprise
At changes greater than they have yet known.
- T.A. Conrad

To see a world in a grain of sand,
And a heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour.
- William Blake,
excerp from Auguries of Innocence.
