Diary of the Walk for World Pink. We went out at 3:45 pm, pick up my fren at Ampang Park then proceed straight to the KL Tower. Since cars were not allowed at the top, we parked at the parking lot at the base of the hill. So, termengah-mengah la climbing to the top to the hill (Base of KL Tower). Then, we collected the t-shirts, wore those and queued for the photo group. We were told to follow the lines on the floor, which were shaped like the pink breasts cancer ribbon. Then, we went to get our face painted; and of course to collect all the free foods. ;) At 6:30 pm, the walk started. Quiet surprisingly, my asthamatic sister which is currently suffering cold and coughing was among the first 30 people to complete the walk! While walking (I think arnd front of the Hard Rock Cafe), I noticed the ladies in front were saying, 'Chef Wan la!'. Surprise, surprise, Chef Wan was standing there texting something on his handphone. Apa lagik, SERBU!!! We got some pixs with him. He was very cute and very sporting. Then, we continued the walk....the finishing stretch was very tiring since we had to climb the hill to the base of KL Tower. Overall, a very interesting walk (climb) arnd KL golden triangle. The finale was the laser show and base jumpers jumping from the Tower. All in all, a very interesting and meaningful afternoon/evening. Will surely participate again next year, except will need to make sure that I am more fit... Of course, the highlight of the event, is our serbuan towards Chef Wan. What to do, he is a very famous man. Hehehe, I'm sure he wished that he crossed the road a bit earlier. ;) Below are some pix, for more, pls visit my facebook With Chef Wan. The KL Tower, before... After being pinked.... 2 Comments:krina, kenapa kelihatan sangat kurus dlm pic tu
