Hmm...got on the news that the new procedure to 'inked' voters had been scrapped off. Due to possibility of unrest and even fights if the voter had not yet vote, but somehow got inked. My say is, this is a procecdure that had not been well thought off. Hey! We are not the first country to think of inking people. Even Afghan tried it previously...opss...forgot, the vote was ended in scuffles since some places had mistakenly inked people using erasable inks. But I'm sure, being a country that has very high standards of budi bahasa, that kind of slurs would not happen here. Also, being a country that send our politicians all around the world to 'learn', wonder why we did not think of the impacts before...eh, sorry...of course we did not send our esteemed politicans to Afghanistan. We only send them to Europe, Bahamas, South Africa...all the 'civilized' countries with flushing toilets. In fact, since komuter do not have toilets onboard, our esteemed politicians had not even managed to board it. If not, I'm sure that during this poll, some komuter and in general, transportation issues would be touched. Hmmm...I am digressing from the original topic...'INK' Anyway, I wonder whether we had already bought the inks? I think so since the decision to axed the inks only came in yesterday and the poll is only another 2 days. Wonder why we go with the inking process when apparently the matter was only a hunch in a political bid to give around RM1 million worth of money to cronies. Might as well give it straightaway and save our grey cells from cooking up hare brained ideas to cover the tracks. Wonder also what will happen to the inks...Surely some cronies will get the project to get rid of the inks? Can we sell it to some other countries that have some half boiled idea too? I'm sure being a democratic world, we have a lot of people to ink. If our oh so clever politicians can dreamed that idea up, so can some other countries. Hmmm...RM1 million worth of inks...who will actually get billed? I think the hiked petrol price after this poll could easily cover that up. After all, it is only the people's money. In fact, since it is MY money, can I ask for a box of the ink? Only a small box that I had paid for. After all, I am not a greedy politician and only want what I had honest to God had paid for. 0 Comments:
