I am now, crazily buying bead stringing related thingy from ebay and lelong web sites.

From last week until today, calculated about RM120 is spent on buying beads and stringing materials. I am enhancing my skills in bead stringing and jewellery making. I had made a number of bracelets, necklaces and anklets made from materials ranging from semi precious stones, swarovski(expensive little bugger), plastic beads and glass beads.

For now, my stuffs are made just for me and my family. However, I am hoping to sell my stuffs sometime next year.

If any one knows of any place that supply beads, kindly drop me the shop's name and location.

Tomorrow, I am planning to go prowling for a shop named Yi Xin, located somewhere at Petaling Street. Anyone knows the exact place?

Since I am new at this, for anyone that have their stones, beads, whatever and plans on stringing them but do not have the knowledge, you can contact me. Give me the designs that you have in your head and I would string them for you. I would only cost you the string, clasp or whatever additional items (after discussion of course) + minimal fee for the service(negotiable). This is provided that you can meet me up at KL Sentral lah. Anywhere else would be charged extra (my travelling expenses). Please inform me first if you want to see examples of my stuffs.

I am reading the Doona series by Anne McCaffrey. Still to buy new spectacles. Ayark, tadak duit lah. Asik beli beads jer. ;P

The Chronicles of Narnia : The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe is simply magnificent!!

The CGIs are simply superb. The Lion looks really lifelike, and it is 100% computer generated! There are no portion of the movie that are not captivating. Tumnus the faun looks believable, and really cute. Peter the High King looks a bit like our Prince William. I like Peter's character, very intense. Just like I imagine it would be. And the landscape is simply breathtaking.

Too much adjectives? Please go and see the movie urself.

Personally, I would give 9 out of 10. Something like the kiddie version of The Lord of The Rings.
But with the Biblical aspect being toned down a bit. However, that is most probably due to the first book of the Narnia Chronicles being left out.

Ok, ok. I know, most of you would probably say 'What is this heathen Muslim knows abt Narnia and Christianity?' Below, I would give you some comparison between Christianity and the Chronicles of Narnia.

The Chronicles of Narnia : The Magician's Nephew tells about how the Lion (God) creates Narnia (Paradise). Then, after is completed, Digory and Polly (Adam and Eve) causes darkness to descend to Narnia by bringing the Witch (the Sin).

Then, the story diverts from Bible. in Narnia, the son of Adam brings back the Apple to ensure that Narnia is safe from the Witch for a long time, thus the Apple is good. The Apple in Bible signifies the fall of Adam.

In The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, the son of Adam and the daughter of Eve have to fight the Witch and brings peace and happiness back to Narnia. Sort of like the Christians struggle everyday against the Adam and Eve's Sin. In one part of the story, the Lion sacrifices itself to save a boy. Sort of like Jesus sacrificed himself to save humanity. Due to Deep Magic, the Lion was resurrected. Jesus was resurrected too. Lastly, the humans fight agaist the Witch and won. Humanity fights against Satan, and (in Christianity eyes) they won.

Coincidence? Not my dear Watson. I had noticed the parallel on the second reading of the Narnia Chronicles.

Anyway, it is the priviledges of authors to write whatever they want. Hurray for C.S. Lewis for an entertaining world!

Now, if only they would make the Prince Caspian. ;)

Sad to hear 'Confession of a broken heart' song by Lindsay Lohan and 'Because of you' song by Kelly Clarkson. Seems that lately too many families have problems/broken. You can hear about it everyday around you, office mate, x-uni friends, neighbours, etc.

Once I heard a lady said that the issue is due to wives nowadays do not know how to take care of their husband, always working. Is it true? A good point to ponder.

In my expericence, it is not true. My father, at one time had 3 wives! The first one is a full time housewife, so is the second. Only the third wife have a career. So, are those two wives 'tak reti jaga laki'? Ever think that might be, just might be that the husbands also have issues that contribute to the marital problems?

It's a fact that my love life is shadowed by my relationship with my father. For me, only 1 guy had ever see past my defences. 'See' is a bit vague, sneaking past my defences would be much more truthful. And, there are many times that I consider breaking the relationship coz I'm afraid that once he knows how much I love him, he would leave. Just like my father.

Just like my father.

Arggh! Forgot to give my verdict on Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire.

Nice movie. I would give 7 out of 10. Much better than the prisoner of Azkaban.

Lot's of magic and intrigue. But, a bit different from the book. The book have much more magic, with the Veela, new Animagus, Leprechaun's gold money, Sphinx, etc.

The movie is a bit dark, however not as dark as the book. There is a lot more emotions in the book which are not potrayed in the movie.

Am looking forward to the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Would they include the scene where Fred and George Weasley conjure the school's corridor into a marsh area? Hope springs eternal. <| :)

On 3 rd of December, I followed a friend of mine to a camp place at Kerling. The place is a bit further from a well known picnic site in Ulu Yam, further than Batang Kali. Argh, get ur map out lah.

Anyway, this is the first time that I went 'off road', meaning that we went to the camp site with a 4x4 vehicle. In this instance, with Fahroe's Kembara. The road is not so rough, but there are certain stretches that really try my friend's 4x4 meager experience.

We reached the place quite late in the day, nearly 8 pm, so I had not the chance to survey the camping site. However, the gurgling brook really try my patience. The only thing deterring me from jumping into the water is the picture of me, with thousands of leeches sucking my blood dry. Bad imagination!

There are quite a lot of people up there, the major portion being the people from MARES and a group of 4x4 ethusiasts. Barbequing, chatting, catching up on news and meeting new friends seems to be the main agenda.

We went down at about 10.30 at night and reaches the safety of the main Kerling road at about 11++ at night. The distance between the Kerling main road at the camp site is only 7 km. But at night, we had to be extra careful of the road.

Anyway, looking forward to go again. Fahroe, jangan lah malu-malu bawak sayeeeeeeeerrrrrrr.

Hehehe.

Currently, am not reading anything. Got problem with my eyes, blurr all the time. Am dreading to see the doctor, surely would get scolded. :(

The race of man shall perish, but the eyes
Of trilobytes eternal in stone,
And seem to stare about in mild surprise
At changes greater than they have yet known.
- T.A. Conrad

To see a world in a grain of sand,
And a heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour.
- William Blake,
excerp from Auguries of Innocence.
